The idea of the Giving Tree was inspired by my vegetable garden. I haven’t planted a veggie garden since I was a child, but this year I was fortunate enough to have a dear neighbor dig one up for me with his rototiller. I have been amazed that with very little effort or time the garden has produced a TON of nutritious veggies, and the darn thing just keeps on growing and growing, and giving and giving! Every day I check the garden and it has something else to share with me, the birds, and the bugs. It asks for very little, some sun and rain, and yet gives heaps! Hence, the idea of my own beading garden which grew into the Giving Tree. Its my way of giving back. Every so often I’ll change what the tree is producing.
